Express Yourself is a pediatric private practice located in Houma, Louisiana. We provide speech therapy and occupational therapy to children.
Express Yourself’s mission is to build self-confidence in the way children communicate, build a strong foundation in reading, and empower parents.
Express Yourself provides fun, innovative, individualized, and nurturing therapy to meet each child’s need.
Each therapy session is designed to provide an opportunity for your child to learn a new skill. Our speech-language pathologist and occupational therapist create a multi-sensory environment which increases your child’s ability to actively engage in the therapy session while learning new skills which will ultimately increase your child’s self-confidence.
We believe in working with parents and/or caregivers as a Team (Together Everyone Achieves More) to enhance their child’s ability to learn new skills. Parents and/or caregivers are provided with different ways they can help their child use the new skills targeted in the therapy session at home. Homework assignments may be provided which creates an opportunity for your child to practice the new skills outside the therapy setting.
