We are seeking a highly motivated Part-time pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our compassionate and dedicated Superstar team! This position presents a unique opportunity to work in a supportive and enriching environment designed to help children achieve their developmental milestones which ultimately enhances their quality of life.

As a Part-time pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will collaborate with our team to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each child.

  • pay range from $42.000.00 to $43,6800.00

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

* Valid and active license from the Louisiana Board of Medical Examiners

* Pass a criminal background check

Job Responsibilities

*independently and accurately complete and assessment that takes into consideration for all relevant factors

* independently implement intervention techniques during therapy sessions that take into consideration of all unique characteristics and communication needs of each client

* independently and accurately complete a weekly lesson plan for each client

* independently and accurately complete a weekly treatment note for each client

*independently and accurately complete a progress report for each client when required

*educate parents and/or caregivers on strategies to promote independence with skills targeted in the therapy session

*stay informed regarding the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy
