Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

* Valid and active license from the Louisiana Board of Medical Examiners

* Pass a criminal background check

Job Responsibilities

*accurately complete comprehensive evaluations that takes into consideration for all relevant factors for each client

* independently implement intervention techniques that take into consideration of all unique characteristics and communication needs of each client

* independently and accurately complete a weekly lesson plan for each client

* independently and accurately complete a weekly treatment note for each client

*independently and accurately complete a progress report for each client when required

*educate parents and/or caregivers on strategies to promote independence with skills targeted in the therapy session

*stay informed regarding the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy
