How to start services

Have your child’s pediatrician fax a referral to (985) 580-9921 or email referral to referral@expressyourselfspeechandlanguagetherapyllc.com

You will receive a text message stating the referral has been received.

After the referral is received, your child’s insurance eligibility and benefits will be verified.

You will receive a telephone call to schedule the developmental test. It may take several weeks to receive the telephone call.

The developmental test is to determine if a speech and language evaluation is needed.

The developmental test may last for 1 hour.

If your child qualifies to receive a speech and language evaluation, you will receive a telephone call.

The evaluation may last for 1 hour.

If your child qualifies for speech therapy services:

1. the therapy sessions are once a week at the private practice

2. the therapy sessions are 40 minutes.
