✨The Speech Language Pathology Assistant’s role is to provide treatment and support children's speech and language development in a warm, nurturing environment.

Requirements for Speech Language Pathology Assistant
* Bachelors’s degree in speech-language pathology or communication disorders from an accredited program
* In the process of obtaining a valid and active license from the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology
or
* Have a valid and active license for the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology
* Pass a criminal background check

*educate parents and/or caregivers on strategies to promote independence with skills targeted in the therapy session
*stay informed regarding the latest research and best practices in speech pathology
