For Pediatricians

We understand pediatrician’s are an important person in children’s lives and we are honored to have the opportunity to work with pediatricians to enhance children’s quality of life.

Here are some not all situations when a referral to speech therapy is needed:

* a child is not using words to request for objects

*a child does not correctly pronounce words and it is hard to understand what the child says

*a child is repeating his or her words several times (Stuttering)

*a child has difficulty with communicating his or her wants/and or needs

Here are some not all situations when a referral to occupational therapy is needed:

* a child is under or over sensitive to touch, becomes upset and resists wearing certain types of clothing

*a child does not write the alphabets legibly and words legibly

* a child does not independently dressing himself or herself using buttons, snaps, or buckles
